Absolutely. I get the point that it’s a custom. But what gift is more precious than a life, a daughter?

I really don’t think our Society shud have such a custom. Imagine girls being sold off literally in the guise of marriage. Treated as a liability. It’s really pathetic.

See Lavanya there’s many factor associated with early marriage or human trafficking like lack of money to sustain a family of 7-8 or god knows how much… but yes we need to realise that there’s no difference in the mental growth of both the sexes. So women are as capable as men to do any task.

I’m trying to change that thinking that women are a liability but this pandemic has slowed down my efforts.

I guess at this point the biggest influence is social media . What we say on social media can make or break the world.

Yah I get that. So difficult to bring a change… My dream is to become an advocate and work at the root level for such changes.

Lawyers are great! You can do that by becoming a social worker as well. That way it will be more impactful.

Yah I just guess that first of all I have a great interest and law. And second if used correctly law can definitely uplift people and enhance their dignity in the society.
